Let’s go shoe shopping

Another Comp Shop… are you bored yet? Because I’m not!

Disclaimer: I walked in to two women’s contemporary shoe stores in the search for beige closed toe, high heels to go with my pale pink brides made dress to compare the customer service I received.

At Vince Camuto they sales associate came across nice as she assisted me and inquired about certain things like the height and heel thickness. I was disappointed that she never asked to get me a size or mention the very visible four sales racks.

At Stuwart Weitzman I felt as if one of the associates did not want to be working and could care less about helping me. The one who did help, was very active at getting me a size once I told her what I was looking for, she wasn’t rude but not overly friendly and did not inquire about what I was looking for or ask if I needed help.

Overall it was a very mediocre experience. I think both sales associates need to work on their customer service as they would have missed out on a sale if I had actually been shopping. I also think the time of day had something to do with the service I got. Although it was not busy they were defiantly lacking energy.  I liked the service better at Vince Camuto as she was nicer and was more forthcoming but limited her questions, preventing a sale. Also she defiantly should have asked to get me to try a pair on. I was dissatisfied with the product selection more than her. I would recommend that the Stuwart Weitzman associates showed more enthusiasm to represent the brand better. She missed essential questions like can I help you? Or any further specifics once I told what I was looking for. I liked that she was proactive about getting me a size. I was dissatisfied with the person over the product.
