12 Sep Styling

Aside from when I’m doing my own content creating and styling, one of my biggest passions lies within styling others for shoots. There’s something about pulling a whole outfit together that drives a fire inside of me. When the whole look is complete on the model and the outfit comes together as I envisioned, there is no better feeling for me. Throughout what I’ve learned over the past two years is that if you happen to discover what you’re truly passionate about in your lifetime you need to chase and pursue it as much as possible. Some people go their entire life not knowing what they truly love. Its natural to go through trial and error, not everyone is so lucky to find their passion at extremely young ages.  I’m so grateful to have discovered what I’m truly passionate about and they way it makes me feel while doing it.

Dan approached me to style an upcoming shoot with model Mikayla from Spot 6 Toronto. Most pieces from this shoot are from Zara. One of the things I love about this store is that it’s affordable and you can create high-end editorial looks. They currently have multiple styles of trousers and I couldn’t resist when I came across this burnt orange pair, so much that I bought them for myself too. The oversized bows on the cream coloured top completely ties the whole outfit together.

For her second look I had another idea in mind, but last minute came across this gold satin shirt equipped with shoulder pads and metallic buttons tucked away in a sea of sequins.

Dan and I kept saying how the whole vibe and look of the shoot looked like a Lack of Color lookbook, which is 100% goals for the both of us. Hopefully these looks have inspired you babes as much as they have for me!

Love,

Luna
