These Indian spices add great flavour to your food and are very beneficial for your health. 

Spices like turmeric and saffron are inherent with medicinal properties that, when incorporated to our diet from an early stage strengthens our bodies against invasion of toxins, bacteria and virus. Research indicates that Indian spices have cancer-fighting properties.

Turmeric contains the powerful polyphenol Curcumin that has been clinically proven to retard the growth of cancer cells causing prostrate cancer, melanoma, breast cancer, pancreatic cancer and leukemia.

Turmeric

Uses: Decongestant. Anti cancer benefits. Helps improve asthma. Natural antiseptic. Anti inflammatory especially skin. Heals stomach ulcers. Helps speed up healing of wounds. Boosts immunity.

How to? Add a pinch of turmeric to warm milk for decongestion. Add in a smoothie with carrot, ginger and turmeric. Use it in soups. Add ¼ tsp while cooking vegetables or meat.
