13 Sep Oh, maybe it’s the way she walks!
Fall is arguably the best time of year for fashion; it’s the beginning of a new season and the start of cooler weather. It’s the perfect time of year to show off your layering skills with jackets and tights but still warm enough to have fun with your outfit choices. While fall jackets make my heart flutter, it’s the shoe trends that make me swoon every year. Like many women, I’ve been obsessed with shoes for as long as I can remember; I feel as though I’ve almost been programmed to love them, and I have to admit I’m totally okay with it. There are some staples to fall that I’m sure most women have on lock – the standard black ankle boot, the classic closed toe pump, the over-the-knee or thigh-high boot and the typical Doc Marten combat boot. This is a great start but I want to further look into the Fall 2017 “Must-Have” shoe trends for every “It Girl.”
She Wraps Like a Lady
Ankle wrapped heels were seen on all the major runways in February and they have now made their way to retail. This sophisticated closed toe silhouette with a wrap adds a bit of class to an outfit. The additional embelishments, such as buckles, beads or ribbons can turn the shoe into a statement piece all on its own.

Moody Florals
Floral jacquards and moody dark prints have graced fall apparel runways for years, but this year these playful patterns have trickled down to our feet as well. From loafers to over-the-knee boots, these pattered footwear should be a must-have for every woman this fall.

Like the choker, we thought platforms were dead, but this fall the sky really is the limit. This trend might be a little harder to walk in, but you can definitely bet all the major fashion influencers will be wearing them.
