10 Dec December 10th Trip To Michael’s
Today as I was working on one of my Public Relations final assignment, I realized I needed paint and glue in order to achieve the look I wanted. For this final assignment, we were asked to create a media kit box that we would send out to a blogger or influencer if we were actually the publicist for the imaginary event we planned for a brand we choose. I figured what better place to go to find art supplies than Michaels.
When you first walk in to Michaels all you see are their amazing and beautiful Christmas displays so I couldn’t help myself but get distracted by all the colours and items. As I was walking through the Christmas aisles I can across a section where it was Christmas displays but with more of a beach
house theme, they were pink, blue, white colours rather than the typically Christmas colours everything else is. So obviously because I am involve with the beach and my house definitely has the beach warm feeling to it, I had to buy some of the items..I ended buying these two sparkle pink sequin reindeers, A white small Christmas tree covered in sea shells, stars, blue and silver ornament balls, a Christmas sign on like a boardwalk looking wood, and then so many other cool things I wish I could have afforded to buy. Literally my future house instead of just tiny little apartment is going to look so good around Christmas time with all the nice Christmas beach decor I will buy from Michaels.
Lets not forget the glue and paint though, I did remember to pick up the rubber cement glue and black paint. But my trip to Michaels that was only suppose to cost me like $10-$15 bucks…. cost me about $60, but I got all the Christmas stuff 60 percent off so I can’t complain, well worth the trip!
Anyone shopping for pretty and unique decoration for Christmas should definitely take a trip to Michaels, it may be dangerous because of all the money you might spend, but definitely so worth it.
