As a student on a budget, I find it really hard to find clothing and brands that I like at a reasonable price. I found this store called Plato’s Closet. This store carries all the brands I love at great prices that way I can still look fashionable on a budget.

As a student you find yourself always spending money on food, transportation, and everything else that has to do with school.. how can you find enough cash to spend on you clothes. At Plato’s Closet, they also allow you to bring your old clothing items in to their store in order for them to purchase it from you. By Plato’s closet doing this it allows you to gain more money to spend on your clothing.

Some brands they carry are

  • Nike
  • Victoria Secret/ PINK
  • Hollister
  • American Eagle

and many more. There styles are geared towards teenagers and twenty something demographic which works perfect for those high school and university students living with a budget.

 

I have shopped at this store now for the last year and can honestly say, it’s well worth a visit if you are finding yourself on a budget. There only buy clothing items into their store if there are on trend and also carry some luxury hand bags such as Michael Kors, Kate Spade and Marc by Marc Jacobs. I’ve also sold my clothing to some the locations before and have received a good amount of cash, I didn’t always spend the money I received on items in their store but thats okay because they give you cash on the spot rather than giving you a store credit!

 

I highly recommend Plato’s Closet to anyone who is just looking to sell some of their old clothes for some cash or for someone who is on a budget. They have locations in both Canada and America, the ones I have chosen to shop at or sell my clothes too are the Oshawa, Eglinton, and Richmond Hill locations.
